3 days office based and 2 days home based

The Role

As an Business Development Manager you will be

  • Working on a leading household brand.
  • Selling a unique integrated digital marketing service to new and existing clients.
  • Building effective campaigns across multiple media platforms.
  • Solutions including SEO, , digital display, websites, sponsorship, content services, bulletins, podcasts, social, video and events.
  • Working on with an existing base of key client accounts and inbound leads
  • Self-sourcing new customers.
  • Working with clients throughout Glasgow and Central Scotland.
  • Sectors will include Entertainment, Arts and leisure, Business, Finance, Energy,  Health & Beauty, Food & drink, Property and homes, Retail and Travel.
  • Liaising and negotiating with senior key decision makers within a range of customer sectors both over the phone, face to face and using video.
  • Identify the customer needs and business needs
  • Create, design and present innovative media solutions tailored to the client to ensure results.
  • With existing clients you will be responsible for building, nurturing and developing account relationships with key decision makers.
  • Working with PR agencies and the marketing departments of a wide range of Blue Chip organisations who are looking to communicate with businesses and consumer markets.
  • Working with events and content production teams to ensure campaign ideas, delivery and optimum results.
  • Maintain an understanding of their market and competitor media.
  • Working to targets and deadlines

The Candidate

  • You will require experience of selling digital media solutions with a solid track record of developing new business and managing existing.
  • Consultative in your approach to solution selling.
  • You will have a strong understanding of the media and marketing departments.
  • Passionate about developing new business opportunities in a competitive market.
  • Able to negotiate at all levels.
  • Able to understand, present and articulate marketing performance data.
  • You will be PC literate, creative, ambitious, articulate, proactive and quick thinking with the ability to develop long term relationships.
  • Demonstrate past success and a desire to be the best at what you do.
