  • They are at an exciting stage of growth with acquisition and a new rebrand.
  • Due the rebrand they have a new sales focus and are looking to recruit a Business Development Executive in Aberdeen.

The Role

As an Business Development Executive you will be

  • Selling a range of off the shelf and bespoke training solutions.
  • Working with an existing base of client accounts and generating new business customers.
  • Follow a structed sales plan and sales model to build a sales funnel.
  • Self-sourcing and generating new leads.
  • Liaising and negotiating with key decision makers both over the phone, face to face and using video.
  • Identify training and customer needs.
  • Working with clients throughout the UK and abroad.
  • Sectors will include Oil & Gas, Renewables, Nuclear, Food & Drink, Construction, Aviation and Public Sector.
  • Helping to create, design and issue proposals tailored to client needs to ensure results.
  • With existing clients you will be responsible for building, nurturing and developing account relationships with key decision makers.
  • Presenting solutions over the phone, face to face and using video.
  • Maintaining a sales database with up-to-date information.
  • Follow processes & procedures, and staying up to date with relevant legislation.
  • Representing the company at trade shows and events.
  • Working to quarterly/yearly targets.

 The Candidate

  • To apply you will require sales experience from any sector (B2B or B2C) or experience in recruitment consultancy.
  • You will have  a solid track record of developing new business and managing existing clients.
  • Consultative in your approach to solution selling.
  • Passionate about developing new business opportunities.
  • Able to negotiate at all levels.
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Knowledge of range of industries: for example, oil and gas, renewables, food and drink, construction, aviation, public sector.
  • Able to understand, present and articulate information to clients.
  • You will be PC literate, creative, ambitious, articulate, proactive with the ability to develop long term relationships.
  • Demonstrate past success and a desire to be the best at what you do.
